About the opportunity:
The role of a Product Owner offers an exciting opportunity to shape the direction and success of our product offerings. As a key member of our product team, the Product Strategist will play a pivotal role in understanding market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to guide product development. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in mobile app development and a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities:
• Gathering and analyzing data about customers, competitors, and current openings in the market
• Understanding the needs of their customers and presenting these needs within the company
• Presenting complex research findings to management in an easy-to-understand manner by using slide presentations, graphs and charts
• Designing and evaluating ideas for new products
• Designing long-term goals to ensure that the company stays relevant and produces products that sell
• Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
• Defining the vision for the team’s product
• Creating a product road map based on this vision
• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
• Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
• Developing user stories
• Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
• Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
• Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ of experience as a Product Owner/ Product Manager
• Experience working with mobile app prototyping
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• Advanced English skills
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
• Working knowledge of product development architecture
• Experience working with mobile app development projects
• Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to work with large teams
• Understanding of design quality standards
