About the opportunity:
We’re seeking a PowerBi Specialist to develop, implement, transition and train business intelligence solutions using PowerBi to empower data-driven decision-making across the organization and to join our dynamic team. As a PowerBi BI Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using PowerBi.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and existing teams to understand business requirements, design effective data visualizations, skill up existing staff, and deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, proficiency in PowerBi, and the ability to translate complex data into clear and impactful reports.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain PowerBi dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business objectives.
Connect and collate different datasets to enable a unified visual presentation of data.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
Design, implement, and optimize data models to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of BI solutions.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and systems into PowerBi.
Provide training and support to team and end-users on how to effectively use, maintain and create further PowerBi for data analysis and reporting.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in PowerBi and business intelligence technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Relevant experience in technical service and corporate environments with/or industry standard certification and qualifications in a relevant technical field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerBi, including Power Query, DAX, and PowerBi Service.
Experience connecting with and/or exposure to: Azure DevOps (ADO), Zuora, Salesforce, Service Now, Snowflake and Office 365.
Ability to skill up, document, and mentor existing teams in parallel with delivering.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Familiar with fundamental design concepts and experience creating clean, effective visualizations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced global environment.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or similar are a plus.
Ability to be highly productive, both working remotely and in close collaboration within a team, able to multitask across multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven, sometimes unpredictable-but engaging environment.
