About the opportunity:
We’re on the hunt for a talented Business Analyst to join our team! This ba will be responsible for research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting in support of business decision-making, business strategy and business operations. May also be involved in business process improvement, quality control and special projects and other initiatives.
Responsibilities:
● Perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
● Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and correct problems
● Use data and statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
● Assign a numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
● Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
● Participate in sprint planning and requirement-capturing sessions with internal and off-shore development teams and UX designers to capture requirements and determine the process flow of the project.
● Work with data scientist, engineers, and product heads to identify process improvement opportunities, and propose system modifications, and data reporting strategies.
● Prepare final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
● Research: Researches best practices; develops internal and external benchmarks in support of business decisions.
● May perform quality assurance and business process improvement activities in support of the business. Activities may include developing, managing, or coordinating performance or quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training
● Communicates with peers inside and outside the department exchanging ideas or gathering information.
● Ability to manage workshops and training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
● Experience analyzing and exploring data
● Experience with UML diagrams and Data flow diagrams
● Familiarity with cleansing and preparing data
● Generating reports and creating dashboards
● Expertise in statistics
● Strong communication and writing skills
● Expertise in the domain
● Solution-oriented
● Must have experience with SQL, Python, and Microsoft Office Suite
● Must have experience with PowerBI
Nice to Have:
● Knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches and tactics such as GAP analysis
● Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
● Adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity
● Presentation skills
● Advanced experience with SQL, writing code and using data visualization, BI software and/or reporting tools

A reasonable estimate of the current range for a Business Analyst is from USD $120k to 170k per year.
