As Consulting manager you will be responsible for supporting the Director of Technology and Services to guarantee the high quality of delivered service and solutions to our clients, the managing of technical teams and the definition/improvement of processes to increase team performance and quality.

In addition, you will manage and supervise the work of technical teams, develop project proposals, ensuring the technical quality of the various deliverables of the project while understanding the political and strategic aspects of it - contributing to staff development and contributing to the leadership of Avenue Code and also make sure our technical team is following the top technologies of IT market.

Staff Development:

  • Guiding and supporting technical staff in their development, including their technical skills; and providing feedback;
  • Discussing the technical staff work progress on a regular and interactive basis;
  • Helping technical staff grow in their work;
  • Giving input for the technical staff performance assessment;
  • Being involved in the recruitment process (telephone and person-to-person interviews as deemed appropriate);
  • Contributing to a positive atmosphere and culture in the office;
  • Be able to handle annual reviews and compensation negotiation;
  • Having contacts with Avenue Code members on a regular basis;
  • Contributing to a positive atmosphere and culture in the office;

Project Management:

  • Managing the work of technical staff involved in the project (including delegation and allocation of the technical team involved);
  • Being involved and providing input in the development of project proposals, RFIs and RFPs for the relevant proactive work, and where relevant, providing ideas for the development of the due process projects;
  • Raising major issues, sharing concerns, and reporting back on a project progress to the relevant director on a regular basis;
  • Signaling resource allocation needs;
  • Be involved in new projects for new clients or strategic account as consultant when needed;

Quality Control:

  • Ensuring the technical quality of the various project deliverables, while understanding all aspects involved in Avenue Code business;
  • Reviewing the technical staff work, and providing feedback to them.

Contributing to the leadership of Avenue Code:

  • Participating in the management team, where relevant, according to responsibilities, and depending on the issues being discussed;
  • Be involved in any internal initiative when required (event sponsorships, trainings, presentations, internal projects);
  • Representing Avenue Code at external meetings and events as decided by the Avenue Code management team in pursuit of Avenue Code's objectives;
  • Assisting in maintaining a positive working relationship with the clients and other project partners;


  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related courses or relevant qualification;
  • Have a good programming and technology background (9+ years);
  • Have experience in technical management/technical leadership or any relevant qualification;
  • Solid knowledge of Agile Methodologies;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken);
  • Good writing skills;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Good organization skills;
